Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Acute Care Client Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years preferred License: California License required, may submit with license pending and proof of submission Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Acute care hospital experience required. Trauma experience highly preferred. Comfortable working independently in an acute care environment. First-time travelers accepted with acute care experience. Availability to work 3 weekend shifts per 6 weeks, which may include Saturday or Sunday. Description: This position is for an inpatient physical therapist in an acute care rehabilitation setting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with an expectation of working three weekend shifts within a six-week period. Trauma level II experience is highly preferred. Candidates should be comfortable in fast-paced settings and enabling patient mobility and rehabilitation. The environment requires clinicians who can work independently and effectively manage a caseload. References covering one year of experience within the last three years will be required prior to starting. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. If required for the assignment, communication devices will be provided. Candidates should adhere to all scheduling requirements and be ready for holiday shifts as needed. Inflexibility regarding the contracted schedule may result in termination of the assignment. Travelers' refusal to float may also lead to termination of the assignment.
