The legal assistant will provide day-to-day support to attorneys in a part-time, on-site role located in Dallas, TX. Responsibilities include preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, filings, and correspondence, as well as organizing case files, maintaining calendars, and tracking deadlines. The role involves coordinating with courts, clients, and opposing counsel, managing incoming and outgoing communications, and assisting with scheduling and logistics for hearings, depositions, and meetings. The legal assistant will also handle general administrative tasks such as data entry, file management (physical and electronic), opening of new client files and document retrieval to ensure efficient case preparation and firm operations.
