Self-motivated and independent, the full-time remote Research Assistant will conduct research and write briefs focused on promoting regulated cannabis access and public safety initiatives for the Executive Director. Key responsibilities Conduct research to identify working groups advocating for regulated cannabis access in multiple states Write research briefs to support the Executive Director's initiatives and policy recommendations Engage in project-based work centered on reducing teen access to cannabis and enhancing public safety Required qualifications Basic knowledge of research methodologies and policy analysis Experience or coursework related to cannabis policy or public safety Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an undergraduate, graduate, or law program Authorization to work in the United States throughout the internship duration Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
