Overview We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Pipeline Operator to support the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of oil and gas pipeline systems. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in pipeline operations, troubleshooting, inspections, and preventive maintenance, with a strong commitment to safety and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Monitor and operate pipeline systems to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of oil, natural gas, and other products. Perform routine inspections of pipelines, valves, pumps, meters, and associated equipment. Monitor pipeline pressures, flow rates, and operating conditions to identify and address abnormalities. Troubleshoot operational issues and assist with equipment repairs and preventive maintenance. Perform pipeline line locating and coordinate with One Call (811) services as needed. Assist with pipeline pigging operations, pressure testing, and leak detection. Identify and report potential leaks, equipment malfunctions, and safety hazards. Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and control room personnel to resolve operational issues. Maintain accurate daily operating logs, inspection reports, and maintenance records. Follow all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and applicable operating procedures. Respond to emergency situations, equipment failures, and operational callouts as required. Qualifications Previous experience in oil and gas pipeline operations, production operations, or a related field required. Experience with pipeline inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and leak detection. Familiarity with pipeline line locating and One Call procedures preferred. Knowledge of pipeline safety regulations, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and safe work practices. Ability to read and interpret pipeline drawings, maps, and operating procedures. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between field locations as needed. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and respond to after‑hours callouts when required. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
